Main   Applications

Detergent   Industry: Used as filler in synthetic detergents and soaps (up to 30% in   laundry powder formulas).   Glass Manufacturing: Acts as a fining agent to remove bubbles; also serves as   a fluxing agent.   Pulp & Paper: Used as a cooking agent in kraft paper production.   Textile & Dyeing: Used as a levelling agent to improve dye penetration   and color fastness.   Chemical Industry: Raw material for producing sodium sulfide, sodium silicate   (water glass), and other chemicals.   Pharmaceuticals: Used as a laxative and pharmaceutical excipient; also as a   salting-out agent.   Food Industry: Used as a food additive (fermentation regulator,   preservative).   Other Applications: Metallurgy, leather processing, synthetic fiber   production, laboratory inert drying agent, pet litter, de-icing agent.
